I get asked this question a lot what’s your favorite denim jacket or what jacket do you use the most?

Here are some of the reasons I am telling You this is the PERFECT denim jacket.
It fits better then any denim jacket I have owned or tried on, it tucks In at the waist just enough to make it NOT boxy. It hits at the perfect spot to wear with anything from a dress to shorts, it’s soft and not to heavy. It’s price point is $79-89 which is a great medium price for great quality. I carry brands I Love and stand by in our shop and this is one I can’t get enough of.
I own a Levi denim jacket and a Miss me denim jacket both I paid too much for and I never wear, either because to heavy or scratchy and because the fit isn’t just right.
A perfect reason EVERYONE should own a great denim jacket…. It’s timeless, it’s a perfect layering piece with lace dresses, pencil skirts, shorts, jeans, slacks and even tunics & leggings. I found I keep one in my Car all year long because you never know when you might need a little jacket and it’s goes with everything .
I have had customers buy cheaper denim jackets and more expensive ones and I get the same response.. I just love my Kut jacket I don’t wear the other ones! Even had a couple of customer’s misplace their favorite Kut jacket and ran to the nearest Target to grab a cheaper one… Thinking it’s just a denim jacket and sure enough they came and bought another Kut jacket because it just wasn’t the same!

Tips
Buying Denim buy tight, it stretches with wear…
Washing denim doesn’t need to be washed every wear ( if it’s dirty wash them) The more you wash your jeans the more you break down the fibers and shorten their life. You can always spot-clean stains.
Slow down fading, wash in cold water and inside out.
Avoid Shrinkage, Air dry it yield the least amount of change!
Best way to store jeans is folded in your closet.
Denim is ALWAY’S a smart buy it transition into every season! Just keep it a classic wash and fit!
SUMMER time TIPS
Wear Chambray or a Tencel Jean look for a light weight and easy to wear.
Wear a boyfriend fit Jean or short… They fit looser and can breathe easier.
Pair with Cotton tees or tanks that breathe and a cute Sandal to keep keep the rest of your body cooler!

You’ll need:
- A basket of washed and dried strawberries
- A bag of white chocolate melted (I do microwave in glass bowl) Blue sugar sprinkles:) (red white and blue confetti sprinkles is cute too)
- Tray lined with wax paper
Easy to do with the kiddos❤️

4th of July “sparkler” kid friendly drink
I found this Yummy drink years ago on Pintrest and have been making it ever since.
You’ll need
bottles ( I used starbuck’s iced coffee bottles soaked labels off)
sparkles ( party supplies)
sobe pinacolada , blue G2 gatorade, Red Cranapple juice
pour slowly over ice in bottles ( other wise it mixes it up)
heavest sugar content first …. Red, white, blue…… A huge hit with the kids

Watermelon mint salad! One of my most favorite salads and a Big hit at any Summer Party.
I had this salad over Kale at the Aria in Las Vegas a couple years ago by the pool… My mom and I loved it so much we looked all over for a like recipe…. We found this really close one on Walmarts Pintrest board….. It’s great served over Kale like the Aria did it….but is a equal hit served just like stated! Yummy and a perfect salad for any summer occasion!

Capri Blue #6 Volcano has been making our Boutique and my home smell delicious for a couple of Years Now! Volcano is a blend of Tropical fruits and sugared citrus and is yummy smelling ALL year long. Comes in a signature 19oz jar in standard color’s of blue or white and seasonal color’s like orange and this new limited edition Auqa watercolor. In winter holiday red & green.. Capri Blue also makes a Mercury glass version that changes for the seasons ( hexagon above ) and this summer a darling wooden lid round version! The Jars that Capri blue makes a so beautiful when your done using the candle… Pop out the wax residue ( freeze it it pops right out) put in dish washer….. And use for pens, makeup brushes, fill with candy or do as I did and plant some succulents in them!

In the spirit of wedding season, I thought I would share about our latest vacation…. Would make for a beautiful destination wedding or perfect honeymoon.
Trip of a life time for us…Our 20 year anniversary was February 25th. In 20 years & 2 boys, businesses a number of homes lived in and building a life together…. We never took a vacation without our kids! We took vacations as a family, don’t get me wrong we went on little weekend getaway’s or a overnight stay without our kids but a full blown relaxing trip with NO kids was 20 years in the making….
A year 1/2 ago our good friends talked about their trips to the British Virgin Islands and charting a private yacht. This was exciting and sounded like a Trip of a life time! We talked about it a couple more times with our Group of friends we call family, said we gotta do it! The Plans began for “Our Trip of a lifetime!”
Getting more details, and Date’s set for April, deposits made and Fight plans, we realized we Fly into St.Thomas, why not go a few days earlier and enjoy our time as a couple! Better yet I have been saving my American Exspress miles…. Let’s do everything 1St class!!! My research began…. I decided on Staying at The Ritz Carlton on St. Thomas for 4 days before our adventure with friends began! First class seats booked, hotel booked…. Now all we had to do was wait! The excitement of the months getting closer was like a kid going to Disneyland!!!
We were lucky Our Good friends had done this trip many times and knew what company to Book A private yacht with 5 staterooms, also what 6 islands in the British Virgin Islands to travel too, what ferry’s to take. Also What you need to stock your boat with, what to bring and what the important sight’s and outings to take on each Island! Our own personal guides ( we would not have had this experience without the Torman’s) You Fly into St Thomas take a ferry to Tortola and pick up your boat… Then off to Peter, Cooper, Norman, TheBaths,Bitter end and Jost VanDyke! Also Note our friend was the captain and ALL of the Hubby’s are very boat knowledgeable .
The couple day’s before our Trip the excitement was in full swing and I couldn’t sleep! All the months of planning, shopping and organizing was finally here and Man did we all feel like kid on Christmas eve❤️
We’re here…. Really we’re Here!!!! checked into the Ritz with Drinks handed to us upon arrival and it was like a dream ! A breathtaking resort with waters the color’s of Aqua, and Turquoise I have never Seen water so beautiful! We hurried to get into our swim suits and grabbed that cabana on the Beach! The View was so beautiful we kept saying ” we couldn’t believe it’s taken us this long to do this….enjoying each other and our time alone was pure peace. I love and adore my hubby and have always been very great full to share my life with him…. This was better then I could have imagined!
I really think I enjoyed it so much more because I knew my boys were at a age I didn’t have to worry about them ( plus Oma & Opa where taking perfect care of them!) I could relax & enjoy every moment with my hubby and take ALL the Breathtakingly beautiful views, perfect setting, wonderful service at this luxurious resort! We enjoyed the Beauty in the moment….. It was so perfect we never left the resort….A Private cabana, Snorkeling, pool side service, amazing dining, paddle boards, floating on rafts in the ocean in crystal clear water and a 5 star workout facilities! I couldn’t ask for a better Start to an amazing vacation! Guess what… I didn’t miss my boys ( is that bad?)
Sunday our Island Hoping began and man was that an adventure I’ll never forget! So beautiful! I could go on and on…. Our company was perfect! The Island’s were amazing each one having its own adventure and views to die for!! I could write on and on about everything we did and saw but I will say If you ever get the chance to go Island hoping in the BVI’s do it will Change you!! ( most of these little islands can not be reached by cruise ships…) So it a exsperience like no other! Quiet, calm and peaceful yet every island had a cool restaurant or bar and a little shop or two…. The waters …pictures don’t do justice and the pure joy you feel is like your a kid again!!!
Let’s not forget this is where the drinks…. The Painkiller and lime in the Coconut originated! Yummy!

In today’s world of “squad goals” and ” Desperate house wife’s” in the REAL world we call it girlfriends or I’ll call mine “girlfriend squad” …. I am lucky, very lucky to have a wonderful group of Christain, working moms, Happily married, Strong & literally as Beautiful inside as on the outside Woman to call my friends ” girlfriend squad “. my mom had always said ” your lucky to count your true friends on one hand!” With My Circle of woman I am blessed beyond to count them on my fingers and toes! These woman I choose to surround myself with, support each other’s dreams, listen, care for you and your family, will be there for you in heartache as will as your successes. True genuine loving woman. Build your “Tribe or Squad” with ones that care…. Drop the toxic ones You’ll see how your life improves….
With the ” Desperate housewives ” treating each other BAD, being Jealous, fake and not happy for their “so called friends” achievement…. Is not how I would want to have friendships . It saddens me to see these relationships and it’s NOT how woman friendships should be…. Woman need Woman ,True friends to build each other up with kind words not to cut them down. Last weeks sermon by Joel Osteen was about “Tame your tongue”, don’t say everything you feel…. ( this is sometimes very hard for me because I am always so honest)…. I honestly don’t mean it In a hurtful way…I have always tried to be uplifting, caring and supportive and I have been told I am a good listener! Over the years I have learned to think before I speak. To be thoughtful, kind and giving Joel stated “Start good fires, spark dreams & encouragement” This to me is a big reason Woman need woman! Woman Need Support and someone else to understand what they are going through in their daily lives! Good woman encourage their friends, Nobody needs “drama” we have enough in our regular life! friendship shouldn’t have “drama” it should help relieve stress! Should be fun, kind and supportive. ” Live happy, Sow kindness, reap Kindness…
Nobody’s perfect…. Every once in awhile you can say or hurt feeling… But not on purpose… Hurtful & constantly toxic people bring you down and steal your joy! If you have this in your life… Make a change…. Find the good, your life will be so much happier, healthier, and enriched….
