Fun fringe detail and pop of color to outfit!
Fun fringe detail and pop of color to outfit!

Fringe has been HoT the last couple seasons…. I love a trendy piece that adds fun to a outfit! My tip being over 40  is wear the trend… But really only wear one trend at a time. Another tip is don’t spend a lot on a trendy piece these teal fringe heels were $39.99 at just Fab ( I think I got for $20 with a deal) great price wear a couple times and be done. Spending a lot on a trendy piece just isn’t smart! Spend it on a classic heel or great pair of Jeans… Or that great bag😘

Date night outfit, embroidered top, Edyson jeans, my favorite handmade earrings, fringe heels!

Tuesday’s tip

Stick straight blond hair...no exstention here! Making hair wavy.. Nume wand 25mm....
Stick straight blond hair…no exstention here!
Making hair wavy.. Nume wand 25mm….

A fun tip… I have had long stick straight blond hair all my life!!! Being a teenager in the 80’s was hard for me!!! Big hair was not easy and most of the time not in the cards for me! Being in my 40’s I finally found a tool that I can get waves and even curls that last longer then 20 min… The Nume wand in 25 mm and 35 mm. ( Google search for coupons) before buying on Nume’s web sight.

This wave look was achieve using the 25mm… Holding wand In a up position and wrapping sections in rotating sections… 1 section counter clockwise then next section clockwise…

In order for me to do all my hair I clipped the curled section to top of head until all the sections where curled… When finished i unpinned…. Fingered the sections apart and sprayed with hair spray!!

Yes… It last all day… And I get great body and I can create a cute hair style the next day!!! All in 15-20 min until I found this wand and dry shampoo ( tip next week) I had to wash my hair every other day and my silky oily straight hair has always be so hard to have cute hair style and took along time to style…

Taken me 40 years to Appreciate the hair God gave me…with a little help from a curling iron!

I am not sponsored in any way by the products I love or support…

Arm Candy… Bracelet fun!

Loving Arm candy! Pile it on!

A huge trend is piling on the bracelets….aka Arm Candy!

I love this trend, so fun to pile them on and play with patterned, metals and colors.

Great time to pull out all your Old jewelry and see what you can mix & match with your NEW.

Remember to have fun layer them up and mix romance with tough for some fun!

Little tip when wearing Arm candy….keep your other jewelry simple!

Let your wrist make the statement!

Have fun, D’Arcy

Hair Pieces??

With all these fun hair do’s out there you need a lot of long & thick hair…. Well maybe not??
Yes ,I do have long hair, a lot of long FINE hair! I can do a fishtail braid, a great top knot ( with no sock) side knots and great pony’s!! ( you say lucky me)
But what about all those styles that combine 2 or 3 of the above??
My trick… Shhh.. Little hair pieces!
No not extensions or glue ins that damage hair. I mean little pieces that are all ready braided ( like the headband I am wearing in photo) or a straight piece you can wrap a pony with ,a fun colored piece to pin in. Even a pony holder covered in your color hair!
The possibility’s are endless!
In the photo my side knot is cute and I have enough hair to make a fun full knot but if I would had braided it and then tried to put in side knot, I would have had nothing left!
Adding a braided headband changed the look from ok.. too compliment hair:)
So next time you want a fun do look for a little added helper!
( Jessica Simpson) hair line is great! Thank mom:)

Winter Blues!

So if your like me this time of the year starts to get you down.
Cold, snowy, grey skies! Sound familiar?
Here are some of my favorite tips to get you through.
You can’t get to the beach, bring the beach too you. A bowl of shells and some of this Beach by Bobbi Brown ( smells just like the ocean) come in oil and perfume!
I love the shells next to my night stand with some white roses and a yummy candle. Sometimes just the little things pull you through!!
Other things that help me are wearing fun colors! Check out Chic Style www.chicstyleutah.com for some of Kut from the cloths spring clothes!
I am in love with there happy colors and obsessed with the mint colored leather jacket!
Did you know Planning a trip is just as helpful as going on one?? Studies show the endorphin’s are the same as if your going… So get on it and plan that Spring break or summer vacation!
The little things that can perk you up…
…Lighting spring scented candle’s!
… Have a bowl of citrus fruit on table
… Throw a couple of fun colored pillows
on couch or bed!
… Wear some fun colored jewelry
… Treat yourself to some fun colored nails
Or toes!
Hope this helps you fight the winter blues!!
