Owning a Boutique and having a interior design back ground I often get asked can you come and dress me or come redo my closet!!! Yes Yes I can! In the shop we help people put together outfits all day long.. Even if they bring in something they bought else where, we make a outfit out of it! It’s a free service we love to help customers look good. We knew this has been an issue with as many people over the years that say”I just need help or I just don’t know what to put with what!” And ” can you just come home with me?” Well Now I am happy to come to YOU and help you get organized!

A organized closed with pre styled outfits helps you start your day out right! How happy would you be walking into a closet knowing you have stylish, put together outfits ready no matter what your day has in store. ( no closet to small or too big )

Welcome to Our Home 4th of July Style

Perfect center piece for your 4th of July Table or buffet table… Vintage coca cola crate filled with carnations to create a flag!

I love decorating and entertaining for the season’s. 4th of July is one of my Favorites, the cheery color’s and the spirit of America. Living in Utah ( one of the most Patriotic states) Makes it even more fun! Everywhere you look homes, business and parks are decorated in the spirit of 4th of July!

Here I am Welcoming you into our Home for a peek at how I bring the Spirit into our home and some of My families favorite 4th of July treats!

Having a Party? Above is a fun table center piece, a vintage Coca Cola crate ( I found mine on etsy) filled with dyed carnations. When hosting a party I love to make sure my front porch & door and entry way are decked in the spirit of the Party! Here’s a peek …..

4th of July Strawberry

One of my families favorite treats!
Sure to be a hit at your Forth of July gathering…
You’ll need:
- A basket of washed and dried strawberries
- A bag of white chocolate melted (I do microwave in glass bowl) Blue sugar sprinkles:) (red white and blue confetti sprinkles is cute too)
- Tray lined with wax paper
Easy to do with the kiddos❤️
Dip dry strawberry in chocolate 1/2 way then roll 1/2 of chocolate in sprinkles… Set on tray. When finished place in refrigerator to set 🙂 Note…. Did you get our shops Email this Am? I enclosed this fun recipe…. Sign up for emails at www.chicstyleutah.com

4th of July “sparkler” kid friendly drink

I found this Yummy drink years ago on Pintrest and have been making it ever since.

You’ll need

bottles ( I used starbuck’s iced coffee bottles soaked labels off)

sparkles ( party supplies)

sobe pinacolada , blue G2 gatorade, Red Cranapple juice

pour slowly over ice in bottles ( other wise it mixes it up)

heavest sugar content first …. Red, white, blue…… A huge hit with the kids

 

4th of July Sangria

A huge Hit with the adults….. Red white and Blue Sangria Yummy

Watermelon mint salad! One of my most favorite salads and a Big hit at any Summer Party.

I had this salad over Kale at the Aria in Las Vegas a couple years ago by the pool… My mom and I loved it so much we looked all over for a like recipe…. We found this really close one on Walmarts Pintrest board….. It’s great served over Kale like the Aria did it….but is a equal hit served just like stated! Yummy and a perfect salad for any summer occasion!

Summer Bedding

Ahhhhh….. The change of the Season! One of My favorite times of the year SUMMER,

Long Day’s, Open windows, warm temperatures and the longing to be outside!

All the reasons to Give your room a little redo.

The Decorator in me is alway’s changing stuff but when it comes to our Bedding I change it twice a year ( not the sheets people I wash those every week😉) I change out the Comforter, pillow , shams and even our Minky’s…. From heavy winter blankets, flannel sheets and our thick Compforter in Darker color’s to Our Light weight sheets, pillows and x the Blankets for just This Beautiful light weight cotton Quilt by Anthropology in White. Perfect for the Summer temperatures. I even change our Minky Couture blankets to the lighter version. If you don’t have a Minky Couture blanket your really missing out! In our home everyone has a blanket( a Minky Blanket) even in the Summer you’ll catch me using mine snuggling up reading or lounging there so soft our cats even find it to lay on!

I personally love changing the look of the room with the season.. Tip go with a Wall paint that is easy to change seasons around… Our walls are Mindful Grey ( which happens to be a Big color Joanna Gaines uses from fixer upper) We painted our room this color before I learned it’s one of her favorite pick’s! I know why ….it works with every accent color and changes with the lighting from soft to crisp! I love it❤️

Adding in the little details….. Our Night stands ( different on both sides) Are desk, painted metallic silver. I love the size a versatility used as a night stand! It’s the First thing I see in the morning and last thing I see when I go to Bed, so needless to say I like pretty things on it. Fresh flowers are always a must ( it’s my weekly treat to myself) photos of my boys, my wedding rings and my daily read, are some of the things I always have on it. Seasonal changes are Adding a bowl of shells we collected over the years, changing out my boys photo’s to ones of them at the Beach and a yummy Summer scented Candle ( loving the new coconut one by Voulspa at our shop! YUM) Just these small changes make a BIG impact on your mood and the feel of your space for each season.

Long day’s ahead and a ton of work… It could make your head spin… But to me it’s exciting, the thrill of the hunt and a Rush to take in all the creative Displays, fun & different fashions and the planing of how I am going to put it all together!
I love what I do! It’s a passion and I hope it shows!
